Upcoming Events:

Join the fun on July 4th. County Democrats will be marching in two parades this Friday.

In Buena Vista, plan to line up with fellow Democrats at 9:30 a.m. on Main Street by the old court house, (the railroad museum.) We'll have a float on which you can ride as well as the opportunity to walk along the parade route.

In Salida, line up at 3:30 in Alpine Park for the parade through Salida. It is a shorter parade, so no float, just our smiling faces (perhaps some donkeys).

Bring flags, signs, friends, and yourself to both parades.

Rod Schofield, our chair said, "a Republican friend told me today, 'you Democrats have a lot to cheer for this year!' " So, let's show up in large numbers to give our
communities a chance to cheer for our party and our candidates.

Also, remember the Democratic monthly meeting on Tuesday, July 15 in Salida at 7 p.m. in the County Commissioners meeting room at the Salida Courthouse.

And, plan now to attend our big Democrat BBQ celebration on Saturday, August 2 at 5:00 p.m. at the Salida SteamPlant Event Center. More details on the BBQ to come.
